MSN signal

There is an very interesting thing,my friend's MSN signal is "I saw it lastnight...".it make me very curious about that,I mean,"what did he saw lastnight" .
He is a friend that we're on a fist-name basis,so I ask him "hi,guys ,what did your see lastnight " he reply "Oh,nothing special"."then why you put this signal no you msn?"
he said,"well,I just want to know how many curious people of my friends,and you are first one."  "Gosh.............."
